Building Acoustics

Our services include acoustic designs for all building types from housing developments through broadcast studios, to schools and colleges.  Advice can be provided at all stages of a project from conceptual advice, intricate detailing and practical guidance for the contractor on site.  We can carry out computer modelling for auditoria and for open plan spaces using CATT Acoustic software.

Designs can be reviewed for compliance with Building Regulations Part E, BB93 and BREEAM.  Where necessary we can carry out value engineering for acoustics and provide design and build advice. We have advised on various sustainable and Passivhaus buildings including housing developments and schools. We also carry out vibration assessments in respect of railways and construction activities both in terms of human response and building damage.
